Governance
Leadership. Stewardship. Accountability.
Bracey Pathways is being developed under the leadership and oversight of a founding governing board committed to the school's mission and to responsible public-school governance. The Board's responsibilities include oversight of organizational performance, academic accountability, financial stewardship, policy, legal and regulatory compliance, executive leadership, strategic direction, and long-term sustainability. The Board governs and provides oversight; the Founder/Executive Director/Head of School leads school development and, if authorized, day-to-day implementation within the authority and policies established by the Board.
Founding Board of Directors
The BPS Founding Board brings together complementary expertise in public education, academics, STEAM, special education and evaluation, speech-language and student support, finance, social services, grants and systems implementation, project management, operations, and organizational governance. This range of professional experience is intended to support thoughtful oversight as BPS proceeds through charter development, authorization, and pre-opening planning.
